Vendor Information

find out more about our outdoor market

We are a curated market and prioritise vendors with products that are handcrafted, vintage , artisan , bespoke , preloved and upcylced.

The goal is to have a mix of quality handcrafted/ handmade products form local designer and makers.

It is ok if your products are manufactured outside of Sweden as long as the design work is based in Sweden.

Everyone is welcome! You can be a small  business, brand or a hobby enthusiast.

However , you are responsible to be aware of which tax requirements you need to follow depending on your situation.

The market fee is non fundable.

Instead we issue fee credits in the following situations.:

If we ( the market) cancel the event :

If we cancel the event , you will receive a full market fee credit  to use to book a new new market date. ( This does not apply to extreme weather conditions or emergencies out of our control )

If you (the vendor) need to cancel :

If you need to cancel you may submit a request to change the date of your market.

To request a date change there is a date change fee of 100 kr.

We only accept requests to change dates up 2 weeks before the start of your market.  Cancelations made less than 2 weeks are not offered the possibly to re book or change  the date. If you cannot find a date within the market season of 2022 , the credit will go to the following year.

We are an open air – out door market and we can’t  control the weather .

To make sure you are sheltered from the sun and potential light rain we provide tents. We strongly recommend that you come prepared for changing weather conditions.

Things that we recommend you bring are : plastic boxes and some kind of plastic tarp that you can quickly use to protect your products during light rain.

If there is an extreme weather or emergency situation that prevents us from safely running  the market , we will always prioritise the safely of our vendors and visitors.and therefore reserve the right to cancel with no refund or credit available.

The most convenient way for customers to pay you is with  Swish. However we recommend that you come prepared with some cash incase you need to make change for a customer.

If it’s appropriate for your situation , we would also reccomend using Izettle so that you can accept credit cards too.

A tip from us is  to come prepared with handwritten receipts so that you can provide that for customer who ask for one.

In an effort to be mindful of the environment we would like everyone to put in a effort to contribute a a cleaner and greener market experience

You can contribute by:

Using recyclable and environmental friendly packaging

Offer recyclable bags to your customers

Keep the area around you clean and use the recycling stations nearby

Be mindful of single use plastics and pack your lunch for the day

Bring reusable coffee mugs or thermos.

Consider if there is a possibility to ride share with another vendor

The market is open from 11-17. Vendors can arrive to set up at the earliest at 9:30. You must be set up and ready by 11:00

what our vendors say

It is such a great market to be part of as a vendor as well as visitor. Just the type of cool outdoor design market that I have been longing for in Stockholm! There were a nice mix of unique and ethically made design products of high quality from small brands and makers. It has been well organised and the atmosphere at the market has been grate. I will definitely be joining up again for the spring!

The Other Side Market was one of the first markets I have ever attended and the experience I had was in another league to the ones I attended previously. Besides exceeding my selling goals, the atmosphere was unbelievable! All the vendors were so kind and welcoming, sharing all their knowledge. It was a blast to be apart
